MetaStock 8.0 through 11.0

  When the new US daylight saving time change took effect on March 11, 2007, the symbol database start and end times within MetaStock did not automatically adjust. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. A patch is now available that will correct this situation for MetaStock versions 8.0 through 10.0. (If you have already adjusted your start and end times as a workaround, this patch will still work.) Please note if you ever reinstall MetaStock 8.0 through 10.0 you will need to reapply this patch.
  
  ***Before you install the patch, make sure you close MetaStock and its related components.
  
  
  1. When the File Download dialog appears, click “Save”.
  2. The Save As dialog will now appear, click the Up One Level button (the yellow folder with an upwards pointing arrow) until the Save in: box at the top says Desktop.
  3. Click Save, then wait for a message indicating that the download is complete. Click Close.
  4. You should then see the MSDSTPatch.exe on your desktop. Double-click on it.
  5. The Open File dialog will open. Click Run.
  6. A window will open asking whether or not you want to apply the Patch. Type Y, then enter – the patch will now automatically run.
  7. When the patch has finished running, it will say “X file(s) patched… Press Enter to continue…”. Press Enter and the window disappears. Your patch has successfully been applied.
